Program Description

"…we provide a unified voice to ensure ALL seniors have an opportunity to take advantage of a sliding scale of services, based on income, for help with basic necessities such as cooking, bathing, cleaning, transportation and more. Senior citizens, their families and caregivers should not have to struggle under the growing economic and emotional burden of ensuring basic needs are met. Those seniors who wish to remain in their homes should have the ability to access desperately needed services and enjoy their lives in a dignified, comfortable and life-affirming manner."

"Other states have programs in place to assist members of the populace based on a sliding scale of income; Georgia does not. If we are to remain an ideal destination for future residents and maintain the socio-economic status for our current denizens, it is vital we address this issue."

The organization wants to see help for the multi-levels of income held by the elderly including basic necessities such as cooking, bathing, cleaning, transportation and more and believes that all seniors who wish to remain in their homes should have the ability to access senior home services.
