PARTNERSHIP FOR PRESCRIPTION ASSISTANCE
Partnership with doctors, patient advocacy organizations, civic groups and biopharmaceutical research companies.
Across the USA.
“The Partnership for Prescription Assistance program was created to make it easier for uninsured and underinsured patients to get free or nearly free prescription medicines through existing patient assistance programs."
“A patient or patient advocate simply completes our online questionnaire with basic information about prescription medicines, income, and current prescription medicine coverage and PPA matches the patient with assistance programs for which they may be eligible.”
The program matches individuals to prescription drug benefit programs free of charge.
The Partnership for Prescription Assistance website asks users to complete the following information in order to match them with drug assistance programs.
- Visit website search for and add medications taken to account.
- Enter personal information such as address, household income, current benefits.
- Drug assistance programs are generated and user clicks which ones they would like to apply for.
- Print and mail applications to addresses provided.
The Partnership for Prescription Assistance program holds Prescription Assistance Workshops across the country educating the public on how to find patient assistance programs for which they may qualify.
