The "Foster Grandparent Program" is an intergenerational mentoring program that places low-income seniors, age 60 in schools to volunteer to mentor a child/ youth for a minimum of 20 hours a week.
The “Corporation for National and Community Service” is a federal agency that engages millions of Americans in volunteer service through “Senior Corps,” “AmeriCorps,” and “Learn and Serve America.”
